Retesha Boyd

Retesha Smith-Boyd is the General Manager of Nexa Credit Union. Prior to being the General Manager, she was the Deputy Manager where she was responsible for policy development and strategy implementation and was the lead driver in the implementation of the company’s ATMs and debit card on the CONNEX network. As the General Manager, she led the rebranding to Nexa Credit Union and fortified its national visibility as the second largest credit union. Apart from her business acumen, she is passionate about governance, youth and education and has served on various management committees in the cooperative movement. She is also an accredited director with the Chartered Governance Institute of Canada and have been a financial literacy trainer with the Commonwealth Secretariat and collaborated with the ECCB on financial education initiatives. She has a certificate in Education, bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a master’s degree in International business.
