YFF 2.0 Panel Discussion 2

Gregg Mannette’s journey in the insurance industry is a testament to visionary leadership, unwavering commitment, and a passion for excellence.

Before being identified as a successor for the role of Vice President – Sales, Gregg began his career with Guardian Life of the Caribbean at the remarkably young age of 16, serving as a summer intern in the Corporate Services Department.

Upon graduating from St. Mary’s College, Gregg initially pursued a degree in law. However, at age 20, he chose to follow his true calling in life insurance, joining the sales force under Jeffrey Mazely’s Unit in the Vernon Fingal’s Branch. His early decision to transition from law to life insurance proved to be a defining moment, setting the foundation for a career marked by distinction.

Gregg quickly rose through the ranks, earning Agent of the Year honours in 2013 and again in 2019, the latter also marking his receipt of the Industry’s Top Producer Award. These achievements are among a long list of industry and company accolades that reflect his exceptional performance during his time as an agent.

In 2020, Gregg was appointed Unit Manager. Despite the challenges of a global pandemic, he successfully tripled the size of his team and exceeded quota targets consistently. His leadership is defined not only by results, but by a genuine dedication to mentorship and youth development, an endeavor he shares with his wife and partner in purpose, Narisha Mannette, herself a successful agent turned Unit Manager.

Gregg’s contributions extend beyond national borders. He has served in several influential roles with the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), including Trinidad and Tobago and Caribbean Zone Chair.

Gregg holds the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation from the American College, reflecting his commitment to lifelong professional development. He is also the Immediate Past President of the St. Mary’s College Past Students Union, and a proud father to Gregg Alejandro Mannette, recipient of the National Award for Gallantry in 2022.

Together with his wife of 19 years, Narisha Mannette, Gregg continues to shape a legacy defined by service, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to family and excellence.
